HID – Location Services

HID Location Services is a location engine powered by a Bluetooth to Wi-Fi network, delivering location-aware data to address people, high-valued assets and equipment applications under a single IoT umbrella.

HID – BEEKs Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) beacons

BEEKs™ Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) beacons are the most advanced beacons in the industry.

Being fully Apple iBeacon and Google Eddystone compatible, BEEKs beacons may be used for any standard beacon application to provide location based promotional services to smartphone users of both platforms simultaneously. 

BEEKs are not limited to standard beacon applications. HID Condition Monitoring Services includes a range of sensor beacons for motion, temperature, and vibration. When combined with HID Global’s end-to-end IoT ecosystem, that includes BluFi™ BLE to Wi-Fi gateways and the Bluzone™ cloud services, BEEKs can be centrally managed through the cloud.

The Bluzone cloud empowers enterprises to aggregate, and make sense of large amounts of sensor data to help make decisions and gain insights into real-time location of assets, building utilization or equipment condition.

In addition, HID Global Location Services is an efficient real-time asset location (RTLS) platform leveraging BEEKs beacons to effectively pin down the locations of assets inside a warehouse, campus or manufacturing hall.

Bluzone allows for scalable worldwide beacon deployment, fleet, workflow and event management. The combination of sensor beacons, BluFis and Bluzone platform, make it possible to manage and monitor large networks BEEKs enabled (beacons) assets. Bluzone is accessible via REST APIs to integrate into third party management solutions or simply provide a customized user front-end.

Low-Cost, IP67 Rated Battery Powered Bluetooth® Tag

The Guppy is a compact, rugged Bluetooth® Tag perfect for low-cost monitoring of assets. The Guppy Bluetooth integrates with other Digital Matter devices that support Bluetooth®, or they can be used with your own Bluetooth® mobile applications. The Guppy runs off just 2 x AAA batteries for up to 5 years and does not require a SIM or data plan. It can be readily attached to almost anything to provide low-cost asset location. It is particularly useful for low value or smaller assets where it may not make commercial sense to attach a more robust (and expensive) device.
